The Amazing Amish Cinnamon Bread

I made this bread today, and it turned out perfectly! I did a half recipe (just one loaf), and it tastes wonderfully moist and with the perfect scent of cinnamon. The only change I’d like to make in the future is cut down on the butter or use applesauce substitute. I will definitely be making this again.
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk or 2 cups milk plus 2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
Cinnamon/sugar mixture:
2/3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
